We have wrote a procedure on how to use this cable with Windows XP, this procedure is FREE and is on our product support page of our website, this is done by using a program called DosBox and works very well also free software and there are links on how to get the software PCIS that is needed to communicate with your PLC again for free from Allen Bradley.... if you have this PLC we recommend upgrading it to something newer or at minimum getting the program out and backed up... and other then buying this cable it can be done for free
Note: We have done this using Windows XP, Works GREAT with Windows 7 or 10, our USB cable can be found at this link https://www.plccable.com/allen-bradley-plc-slc-100-150-usb-1745-pcc-cable/
See here for the youtube video on setup http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7TDEKX-SuG8

Try this PCIS software, you do not need to install it just place it on your hard drive C:/pcis (unzip it first) you can use it on the Win98 Win2k or WinXP, I have never had issues with it, AB does give it away... wanting everyone to upgrade to a newer PLC
